The TRIO Educational Talent Search program identifies and assists eligible Kootenai County youths in sixth through 12th grades who have the potential to succeed in higher education, but because of their individual circumstances would likely not pursue postsecondary education. The program provides academic, career and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to and complete their postsecondary education.
